Investigating environmental policies in the development programs and laws of the Islamic Republic Iran from 1981 to 2021

Abstract

The adverse effects of economic activities on the environment are not hidden from anyone and cause irreparable destruction of environmental resources. . The aim of this research is to examine the economic solutions and methods of environmental protection and the effect of competitiveness or exclusivity of economic activities with an emphasis on the legal system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering the effects and losses of Qaserwab on polluting economic activities on the environment. In addition to that, Islam also has its own rules regarding the correct way of thinking about the environment and connecting with nature, which is not mentioned in the Holy Quran, and all of them have special rules and principles for dealing with the environment and using it. This research is of a descriptive and analytical type and the author has researched using a library method and preparing receipts and referring to numerous laws and regulations and articles. The findings show the solutions and mechanisms in the first to sixth development programs to protect the environment of the Islamic Republic of Iran. There is. Therefore, these solutions are prescribed in the laws of the Islamic religion and development programs and other laws and regulations, and the government must act within its framework, but the government has had some kind of success in requiring the private sector to comply with the aforementioned approvals, but in requiring the government units to comply with the laws and regulations. Environmental regulations have not been successful for many reasons, because on the one hand, most of the large and future industries are state-owned or under state management, and on the other hand, the government is also in charge of managing the Environmental Protection Organization.
